A ridge of high pressure remains over southern Vanuatu while a trough lies over the northern islands, slow moving.

Forecast
East to southeasterly winds of 22 to 27 knots over all open waters of Vanuatu. Rough seas to 3.0 metres. Moderate to heavy east and southeast swells. Poor visibility in showers of rain and thunder.
